Robert N. Bennedsen
1st Lt. Robert N. Bennedsen, 25, of Vashon, Washington, died July 18, 2010, at Qalat, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. 1st Lt. Bennedsen was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.
