Petty Officer 2nd Class (SEAL) Adam O. Smith, 26, of Hurland, Missouri, died in a helicopter crash September 21, 2010, during combat operations in the Zabul province, Afghanistan. Petty Officer 2nd Class Smith was assigned to an East Coast-based SEAL Team.
