Vietnam hero to receive Medal of Honor posthumously

WASHINGTON (Army News Service, April 17, 2012) -- President Barack Obama has announced that Spc. 4 Leslie H. Sabo Jr., a rifleman with the 101st Airborne Division, will posthumously receive the Medal of Honor May 16 for his actions during the Vietnam War. Sabo is credited with saving the lives of several of his comrades in Company B, 3rd Battalion, 506th Infantry when his platoon was ambushed May 10, 1970, near the Se San River in eastern Cambodia. A day at The Pentagon.

Friday the 13th turned out to be very lucky. We were invited to a private tour of The Pentagon. We were in DC on other business and a good friend's mother works in the Pentagon. She's a Lieutenant in the Air Force and she was able to give us time for the full tour. And we just happened to be there on the monthly welcome to the Wounded Warriors.
